April Dawn Knudsen M.S.
I am a driven, team builder, who creates solutions by making complex ideas actionable. I am motivated by learning, and believe that skills such as collaborative intelligence have allowed me to bring diverse voices together and distill the best ideas. I have lived, led, and served across rural Colorado since 2008d, and I’m proud to call rural Colorado home. Throughout my Executive career I have worked to strengthen communities through the nonprofit sector. Through these leadership opportunities have expanded services, moved organizations from a deficit to a surplus, expanded local resources/opportunities, fostered strategic collaborations, and brought in new funding to communities.
I believe that a strong leader is willing to put in the work, ask tough questions, make data informed decisions that are guided by community voice, bring in outside perspectives, and operate transparently. Throughout my life I have strived to invest my resources in thriving communities through investing my education, talents and leadership into making good work more effective and sustainable. |
